Where is the Fridge & Pantry located?

The Fredericksburg Free Fridge & Pantry is located on the corner of Princess Anne St. & Dixon St. in downtown Fredericksburg near the Downtown Greens upper garden. It is also directly across from Logan’s Upholstery and Vintage Stuff at 200 Princess Anne St., Fredericksburg, VA.

When can I donate/access food?

The Free Fridge & Pantry is open 24/7, 365 to the public for giving and taking. No appointment needed.

The Free Fridge & Pantry also collects donations at our donation stand every 2nd & 4th Saturday at the Fredericksburg Farmers Market in Hurkamp Park from 7am – 1pm, April through October.

What CAN I donate?

Individuals can donate any quality store-bought items such as produce, milk, eggs, butter, bread, frozen meats, dried pasta, beans, and lentils, canned soups, meats, fruits, and veggies, boxed or bagged rice, and beverages. Home-grown/raised produce and eggs can also be donated.

Licensed restaurants/caterers/farmers/grocers/etc. can donate surplus product, pre-made meals, etc. as long as all donations (except whole produce) are sealed and dated.

What CAN’T I donate?

Nothing past its expiration date, nothing already opened/partially eaten, no seafood, and nothing homemade.
